Location location location!!! The Donald certainly got more than one thing right when designing his luxurious landmark right in the heart of downtown Chicago. I had the privilege of staying a few nights at this immaculate, luxuriously detailed property. Upon arriving to the time I checked out you will feel like "The Donald" himself as the level of service provided by the entire staff far exceeded the caliber of this hotel class. Truly unparalleled service. The overall design and decor of the hotel is pleasant to the eye - think minimal, clean and ultra modern and no matter where you look there are spectacular panoramic views of the Chicago skyline, river and lake Michigan thanks to the ingeniously glass architectural design.

The rooms were generously spacious, I'm talking enormous (1 Bedroom suite - 1,200+ sq ft). From the fine thread count linens, to plush bath towels to the signature designer toiletries, everything offered was top of the line. The suites provide a feeling of utmost elegance offering residential touches such as a fully-equipped kitchen, charming fireplace and custom designed furniture. Complimentary wireless internet access is offered which was a big plus, something every hotel should offer as a standard instead of nickel and diming its guests.

I'm normally quite critical of the many places I've stayed at however I can't seem to find any flaws with this property no matter how hard I look. The hotel is just breathtaking and the entire staff knows it's their job to treat you like royalty so you come back and tell your colleagues. I can personally guarantee that The Trump International hotel will not disappoint!

As I've stated time and time again, travel to me has always been more than just visiting a new city and seeing the sites. It's a combination of experiences. Exploring a new place is equally as important as intertwining the hotel experience, especially when it is at a level this good, so good it distracts you from wanting to leave the property. Then again who says you have to?! That's the beauty of travel, you define your own rules. The Trump International Hotel just makes it that much easier or in my case harder to leave.
